Geometry, texture, and the functionality of my work emanate from an artistic environment. It is meant to bring the viewers into my world through my eyes through the processes of my brain. As we learn, our brains become more powerful, adaptable, and efficient; increased brain cells and more and better communication between them. Physical sensations, hand-eye coordination, rapid fluid integrated reaction, and intellectual aspects are all a part of ceramics.
Living subjects cannot see themselves in total, but we disclose to each other what we cannot know of ourselves through our work. I am intrigued by different personalities; their engagement with neurobiology and color fascinates me. We are always learning and discovering new pieces of ourselves every day; I found this highly prevalent in my current works. New neuro connections are critical to making discoveries in one’s life and how color can affect the brain. I did a neuro-study back in the summer of 2021 with a professional studying the neurofeedback from visual forms, hearing, and color that combined numerous clinical and research to bring comprehensive, cutting-edge diagnostic and treatment modalities to adults and children with sleep disorders. The brain is a holistic information-processing system. Simply giving the brain information about its activity, the brain responds by doing what it does best – it reorganizes itself based on this new information, activating its intrinsic healing wisdom. Focusing on painting bright colors to create high-contrast focal points is peaking throughout my artwork.
That’s what has helped me through the process of my projects, this adaptation to be inventive and subconsciously influencing my current work.
